how can we minimize the off load losses of a distribution transformer which is required to be energized 24x7 ?? capacity of the T/F is 1250 KVA and off load losses are around 2.0 KW.. can we use capacitor bank at the secondary of such a T/F to overcome off load losses? please elaborate briefly...thanks
2 5163an off load but energized 11/0.4 KV, 1250 KVA T/F has a power factor of 0.65(capacitive)..!! why is it so, though T/F being an inductive device ??
