Vapour when compressed becomes a liquid. But for gas, temperature needs to be decreased below condensation point, high pressure won't do.

The exact ans:-In terms of critical temperature, a gas can be liquefied below critical temperature by applying pressure. Therefore, above critical temperature, it is a gas but below critical temperature, it is a vapour......

basic difference is
gas is a completely state of matter while vapor is not a
state of matter bcz it contains liquid content.
