There are two types of Fact Tables namely :
1) Cummulative Fact Table : Facts collected over a period
of time are called CFT.
2) Snapshot Fact Table: Facts collected at adhoc basis are
called SFT.

There are two types of Fact Tables namely :
1) Cummulative Fact Table : Facts collected over a period
of time are called CFT. This contains mainly Additive facts.
2) Snapshot Fact Table: Facts collected at the particular
time are called SFT. This are mainly Semi/Non Additive facts.
Also,
Fact less fact table : which has only FK and does not
contain any measures. eg: Visitors to the office

Fact tables have 4 types:
1)Additive Fact table
which can be summed ex:Sales,we can summed sales amount
2)Non-Additive fact table
which can not be summed ex:
3)Semi Additive fact table
That can be summed up for some of the
dimensions and not others.
EX:
4)Fact less fact table:which does not contain measures.
ex:student :faculty,year,course details..there is no measures

Hi All, Is there any way to check whether a value is selected in a Multi-select tree prompt? I have a tree prompt and want to get to know whetehr which values user has selected,i want to so that values on the top of the report. I Have used that paramDisplayValue('paramername'),But it will display only last selected value. For Example i have tree prompt with one level Region- >country->states If user select region Asia it will dislay the all the Countries in that region and then if user select India it will display the states related to india only Suppose Hierachy look like this: Asia->India->Andhra Pradesh. I want to show this hierachy on the top of the report How it is possible? Can you please help me?
