Answer / anil kumar ganga

Varun,
In webi there is no pivot option available and there is no
standard method to hide the table. You hav to do workaround.

Select the table or column
1. borders-none
2. font-white
3. background-white
If you are hiding any column then you have to do this
reduce the width of the column.Minimum 4pixels.

In BI 4.0, there is an option to hide a table based on a
condition. You can check the table properties for this.

Also you can hide dimension columns in a table.

In the earlier versions (like XI R3 and R2), We had to
camouflage the table values based on a condition. This was
achieved using Alerter.

Hiding a column in Webi is Tricky. actually hiding is not
possible in webi so you will have to show some other data
in column you want to hide. for example if your report
contains, product name, product id and color & you want to
hide color. Then make an alert on product id. in formula
bar give condition that product id = product id. That way
condition will be true always. Now in format section in
top, click the left button for value of object. and select
column product id. Now as par alert where condition product
id = product id will be true it will give value of product
id only. Now in report you get two column for product id.
You can delete previous one.

Though i could not give any screen shot i have tried my bet
to explain it.
