WHAT IS SAP BO AND BO?

WHAT IS SAP BO AND BO?..

Answer / ramesh

BO and SAP BO are one and the same.
.....-> up to BOXIR2 it was called as Business Objects.Because it was a individual product not owned by anyone.in BOXIR2 Crystal reports were owned by BO.it was only taking data sources from flat files and traditional databases(SQL Server,Oracle, sybase etc)
So BOXIR2=BO+Crystal Reports
......->at the time in the year 2007 BOXIR3.1 release SAP acquired the whole Business objects.and bo also taking sources of SAP Warehouse BW(Infocube,Infoset,ODS,Multiprovider,BEX Query)and SAP R3 application(tables, clusters ,dictionaries) So From there onwards it has been called as SAP BO
SAP BO=BO+CR+SAP Data Sources(SAPBW,SAP R3)
