Yes,it need to BRS Ex:Feb-13 We have given a cheque to party-1500/- but party not clear this chque & bank also given to us 1500/- intrest in our amout so what happen bank & Pass book is equal.So we need to BRS@monthly.

yes sir, if cash book and bank book balances are showing same balance. you needn't to prepare reconcialation.

BRS is prepared when there is a difference between cash book and pass book balances, if both the books are showing same balances, no need to prepare BRS

for finding of the difference between Cash Book balance and
Pass Book balance only, we are preparing Bank
Reconciliation statement. if same balance shows both books
there is no problem.

BRS has nothing to do with balances tallying. it has to be
done to verify every release of money and every collection
of money the fact that balances match cannot be an excuse
for not doing the brs.
even if an account not opertional we need to do brs.
