what is the differences between document date and posting
date and entry date
Answer / peter abubakari
a document date is the date indicated on a particular
document giving authority or instruction.
posting date is the date the instruction on the document
was effected.
entry date is the date entries were raised to the effect of
the document.
normally entry date and posting date will be the same
because as soon as entries are raise they are suppose to be
posted.
