MIS is the acronym (ie. stands) for Management Information
System.
This is data that is summarised or presented in the form of
graphs such that it can be used by the management for
decision making.
MTD is the acronym (ie. stands) for Month To Date.
That is, from the beginning of the month to current date.
The date today is Aug. 06, 2009, so any MTD report would
present the data from Aug. 01 (beginning of the month) to
05 (current date-1 day).
If electricity consumption for one day is 2000W, MTD
electricity consumption would be 2000 x 5 = 10,000W
