hi....when will be d result of sbi po preliminary held on
12th oct be out?........i want to prepare for final but
since i don't know d result of prelm,should i prepare for
the final exam?.........or wait for the results?... please
give me some suggestion???

hi,
i think u shud start preparing bcoz tier 2 exam is on 30th
nov,, result will be out in another 10 days. if u will wait
till the result then u might not get enough time.

Anyone preparing for other private bank exams like
Axis,IDBI??

hi people,

this is the format of the main exams, in case someone of u
is not aware of


The main examination of 2 hours duration will consist of :
i) Test of Reasoning, ii) Data Analysis and Interpretation,
iii) Marketing Knowledge, iv) Test of English Language

The Descriptive type examination will be a test of English
knowledge–Time 60 Minutes

u can prepare for DI and reasoning from R.S. Agarwal it's a
very good book and contains all axpects of the subject.

I am trying to find some books on Marketing too but as i m
new to kolkata n not aware of the market here so i cud not,

so if someone from kolkata please help me.

i have gone there once and enquired abt the book


all the books that were shown to me were either rubbish or
to much descriptive bot not required for ths po papers,.

have u gone through any good bok for po papers

nitin if u dnt find ny books related to marketing thn just
switch to google u will find lots many marketing questions
frm there wich u can download n 4 future u can take print
also....

but wen will the result of s.b.i.p.o exam held on 12th oct
will declared?i heard that those who have passed tier1 exam
they get sms frm sbi?? IS THIS TRUE??

n if ny one have sample papers of descriptive type english
paper which is gng to be asked in Tier2 exam held on 30th
oct plz send it to me, bcoz till now i cannot find ny paper
related to it on google...if ny one of u already found it

hi people,

actually the material is available on net but its very
descriptive or u can say we need just paragraph from one
page provided there.

so it takes a lot of time to segregate the right info.

that's why i m looking for a substantial n brief guide to
marketing.

i had seen one with a candidate at the centre for Bank PO
Main held in n around sept.08

but cudn't catch up with him

i think u r a localite so if u try at college street may be
u cud locate that book easily compared to me.
It;s type of a handbook on marketing and i think that book
wud solve our problems.
take a look if you cud find it out.

regarding the sms thing it's not necessary that they send u
sms, the result as per my knowledge is not published yet and
if i wud come ot know abt that i wud mail at your id.

knw tht u r frm kolkata]so cant help u on tht but am
searching in my place for maketing as well as english
sample papers.
