Hi All, I have attended for H1B yesterday in chennai
consulate. Interviewer was
not happy with the project desc and asked for more
documents mostly abt company profile and complete desc.she
asked me to drop them in the drop box in hyderabad
consulate.but she said not to
drop the passport. can anyone let me know what happens
next. shall i consider it as lost as she didnt asked for
passport? or after checking the documents will i be asked
to appear again if she is ok with the docs? or how is it
gonna be? Any one please let me know. Thanks in advance.

It seems like your H1B application has been put on hold due to insufficient project description and company profile documents. You should follow up with the Hyderabad consulate to drop off the required documents as instructed. Do not drop your passport. Once they review and approve the documents, you may be asked to attend another interview or they might proceed further without requiring a second interview. It is not recommended to consider your passport lost at this point.

Hi, My company has initiated H1b for me...am not sure, on my appliaction. This is because: 1. An from non IT background[Mech engg] & have only 2.3 years of IT exp 2. I did my Engg after my diploma in mechanical. Guidelines says it should be [10+2+4]...But i have [10+3+3].. Please answer this...Am very confused...

HDFC receipt, visa Interview letter, I797, I129, Offer Letter, Client agreement doc, all original certificates, all company offer letter and relieving orders, payslip.
