guys..i had my medical test on 24th dec. am frm bangalore
circle..we had to spend 1400 rs for all the tests, which wil
reimburssed at the time of joining.so keep all the receipts
carefully.
all medical tests for bangalore circle wil get over by tomo.
our offer letters wil be sent to home within 3rd january and
place of joinin wil also be mentioned in that letter. our
joining date is on 5th january.
for bangalore circle the training wil go on till 15th march.
they train only 90 ppl at a time at stc basavanagudi. we wil
be given 3 days training. mysore batch ppl wil be attending
the first training session.
so all the best guys, wait for ur turn for training session.

and and good news for bangalore circle ppl who didnt get
through the main interview. a new waiting list wil be
announced soon. they still have shortage of 400 ppl it
seems. so keep ur fingers crossed.best of luck.

Hi Anil, Kiran, etc., from Hyderabad. Any news about
appointment letters? Time is nearing for Jan 5 and no
further communication from the bank. Will they give us ample
time to be able to go to the place of posting?

touch with some of other candidates
from hyderabad circle ,still no one
got the appointment letter.I think we
can expect our letters before 30th
this month.may b saturday r monday
most probably.Anyway dont worry.If i

Hello all,

I went to the Zonal office in Vijayawada today to inquire
about me not getting any sms. They told me that since I
completed my medicals late my allotment will be somewhat
delayed and it will take about 15 more days.

I also had a confirmation from them that all the people who
have completed their medicals and declared fit even though
they completed them later than the date they were given will
definitely get allotment and there is nothing to worry.

So whoever completed their medicals late like me and know
they have been declared fit have nothing to worry. It will
be just that we will join later than others.

I dont clearly about the seniority issue, but I am fine as
long as I am assured of the job by sbi.

Meanwhile whoever is going to join on 5th plz keep posting
your experiences so that people like me can be well prepared
for the duties to come.

And about the increment, all the graduates will be receiving
the first increment by default as told by the hr here in
vijaywada.

hi FRIENDS
yes the graduates or postgraduates do get more than
undergraduates. The basic pay is Rs.4410.but for graduates/
postgraduates two additional increments r sanctioned at the
initial stage and basic pay becomes Rs. 4830. I know this
since I hv received appointment letter from another PSU
bank which i am not joining and pay scale is same for all
psu banks.

Hello everyone,

I received a call from the zonal office here at Vijayawada
to come an collect my appointment letter on 5th and i will
need to join on the same day. I think the posting place is
near to my home, i hope so. Any way I will be starting a
blog for us all soon and hope i get some responses regarding
that here.

Hello Gops and Sangeeta,

As I verified and arranged all the files of new recruits and
also formatted and typed some training letters to the next
batch of trainees in the region I am working for presently,
I have noticed that some were given basic pay of 4410 and
some were given 4840. All the graduates were given 4840
which includes the two increments that I mentioned, which
means they have already been given the increments and will
not receive further increments on basis of graduation. We
all will be given increments once or twice a year in the
anniversary month of our joining and also some other date.
So we all will be receiving increments regularly.

And also I want to mention that JAIIB and CAIIB were
compulsory in the past but not now. We will all be eligible
for promotions after completion of 2 years of service
irrespective of our educational qualification. So we will
have to prepare for the exams that will be held for the
state bank employees only for promotions and increments.
So, even intermediate students can write those exams, but I
suggest all should complete their graduation even on a
correspondence basis so as to get those two increments. The
gross pay will differ a lot because of that.

I will today inquire about the different cadres, promotions
and pay scales and update you in the evening. So none of us
have anything to worry about anymore and we should keep
working on achieving further and getting to a better
position. We have a lots of spare time to do that.
