i am sailakshmi.first of all congratulations to all of u
selected for interview.
my interview was on 23rd at vijayawada. ap
mine is board 2. first no is mine in my board
my interview was around 5 to 6 minutes.
asked me about
1) what is a bank
2) rbi functions
3) what are the strengths
4) about my previous employment nd recently what i have
done in the last year
5) who is the brand ambassodor for nokia
6) what is contingent liability

thats it. i have done well. except 2 questions. i.e.
contingent liability nd brand ambassodor.

Vaise I am preparing for CAT.. So my main focus is on that..

Madurai, T.N…
The panel members were friendly…be cool and frank…there s
nothing to worry…
There were two men and a lady in my panel.

The intv went lik tis…

1. Being a B.E graduate y hav u come 4 clerical post?
2. If u go into IT field u would be paid more…then y do
prefer tis with low salary compared to it?
3. What does u mean by e-governance?
4. What s CBS? How s a customer benefited from it?
5. What r the means of doing transaction without going to a
bank?
6. What s internet banking?
7. What s CRR? What has the gov done to reduce the
financial crises?

Then the other person proceeded….

1. Asked abt family background.
2. Asked abt dad’s profession.

As my dad s from customs & central excise dept I had ques
lik..
Wat s taxation…wat r the type of taxes?

Then…
How has ur dad helped u through?
Whom do u luv more ur mom or dad?

Then regarding subject…

What r super conductors?
Why shouldn’t we stand under a tree during lightening?
What do you mean by earthing?

Then the mam proceeded…
Tell the importance of the city where u did ur collg?
Who s the finance minister of union?
Wat r ur strength & weakness?

These were the ques which I faced….

Hi friends
MY interview was on 22nd.I had to wait for 5 hrs b4 my
turn. But the interview was good. they asked me
1.tell about the functions of bank
2. loan waiver to agriculture sector --is it good or bad?
3.if u have to work 4 more hrs than ususal time wat is ur
reaction

they asked me this types of questions. no gk or current
affairs at all.all the best 4 d remaining candidated who r
going to give interview

Thanks for the Answer. But one thing is uncleared for me.
As Kishore asks Is there will be any revision in pay or it
is permanent for years??? Please Clarify this doubt also.
If it is yes means for how many years and wat will be the
difference in the salaries??

I completly agree with Kishore on his feelings regarding
salary. Now only i came to know about the salary for this
post. Then wat's the reason those people pour their
application for this post and dying to get this job. Really
i cant understand.

Eventhough many people in this forum is getting more pay
than rs.7600/-

Hi all,
Really this is the case.Salary is less in this sector and
moreover one has to work constantly shifting places every 2
to 3 years. I heard that recently when state bank clerk
recruitment was done, about 400 were selected(final result
after interview) and only 70 joined the bank. Such is the
case.Eventhough due to economic crisis many are
enthusiastic, but in days to come, people change mind and
go to other fetching jobs. I think after 20 years of
service one could cross 15k or 20k.

Hello guys and gals, Congratulations to those who have passed their exam for SBI clerk 2010. I am also through with the exam and have my interview scheduled on 30th April 2010.
