There is no need to be so rude. I was not responding to
your post anyway, and I am not over-smart ok. If it was
told to you by SBI official to you, it is fine with me. I
don't know you personally, keep your comments for yourself
ok. By the way you responded to my post, u have proven
yourself to be arrogant. Once again I am telling you that I
have nothing against you personally.

You could have clarified me politely. Please keep in mind
the fact that this is a forum to discuss and share our
knowledge but not to create controversies and such things.
If they are really going to place us in life insurance, let
it be. What is in there to call me over-smart.

I am sorry if I said anything against you or mentioned you,
but it was very rude of you to talk like that.

Mr Saurabh Pandey,

I was just curious of your posts and searched for them and I
found one where you stated you were given opportunity to
work with SBI life insurance.

Could you please clarify, which circle are you from.

They did not offer me any such thing or anyone else here
except you as far as I know.

I do really want to know why they put before you such an offer.

If anyone else here was also given such an offer please
could you let me and others know. It is just out of
curiosity and has nothing to do with Mr. Saurabh calling me
over-smart.

Any response will be appreciated.

Hi friends, dont fight over what is going to happen.

SBI Life is different from SBI. I dont think they force us
to work for SBI Life, they may encourage us to work in that
regard.

Hello all,

I did some research on my own and am expressing my personal
opinion here. Most of us have not been offered any job in
sbi life with fixed salary like Mr. Saurabh here, so I am
not worrying about that as it will be a private job not a
government one. As far as I have been told by the HR at the
zonal office here in my city, they told the job will be in
bank as an assitant as mentioned in the offer letter.

So please comment on this and provide any other information
as I am eager to know much more.

Dear Mr. Jaggu

Dont worry, i think u r right. Will a person working for
private job in SBI Life or so will be given a scale of pay,
that itself shows we r going to be a govt. servant. So dont
worry. Well if we are encouraged to work for SBI Life, not
just us will be doing na, whole clerks of SBI should do
that. So just dont worry about that.

One more thing, in this time of uncertainty who will dare to
invest?, So these policies come and go with time. Ours is
certainly going to be a govt. job. Be confident.

This is for Mr. Saurabh only, please everyone else ignore it.

Most of us have not been offered any job with sbi life and
even if they did we would gladly refuse it since it is a
private job. And I am sure sbi will not force us in that
regard. They needed clerks and recruited us and we will do
our jobs as told in the offer letter and appointment letter.

As for you please do not try to create panic and confusion
among others.

You must have had exceptional qualifications to be offered
an extra job, don't you?

And if you do really have extra information please enlighten
us in detail and explain to us as I am not as smart as you I
think. so please do.

Thank you Ar for your support and I expect the same with others.

I like this forum and would like to see it as a friendly
place, not where people mock each other and insult each
other. After all we are all going to be colleagues in a
way, so why create enemies in ourselves. Let us work
together in making this forum and our work place friendly an
peaceful and share our knowledge with each other and help
each other as much as possible.

Good for you mr. pandey,

but now you are beginning to bring in your local feelings.
please dont do that again, some people might dont like it.

I am in no way against your feelings or anything, but it is
the way you express your opinions.

If I was boiling, you wouldn't want to know me personally.
I am happy about you being given an additional opportunity.

Not only in Gujrat, talent is appreciated in every state in
India, so dont bring such kind of feelings here.

One more thing is the discussion was not about what you
said. Since you mentioned it, there has been a confusion
rising among the people here if we are going to get a
government job or private one since sbi life is a private
firm. We have been offered clearly in the offer letter a
job with state bank of india and not with sbi life, so
primarily we will be working as a government servant.

If we are going to be placed in a private firm without our
consent, there is no reason to waste our time of six months
and all this recruitment process. As for me if I was to
work with sbi life, i would gladly refuse and go to HSBC,
where they have offered me 22k in data processing.

Please just end this discussion here and no more mocking
comments against me since I have not done any against you.

Please consider that as a request and let us discuss more
important things than this.

And for your information, Mr. Pankaj was talking about some
other person's post not yours. pls refer to the previous
pages of the posts and you will know.

Hi, I attended SBI clerical exam on Nov 22,2009. Marked 35 questions in Marketing/computer aps,20 in English, 15 in Quanz,25 in Reasoning, 10 in General Awareness correctly. But answered atmost 25 in every section. Is there any possibility for me to get selected? What is the selection criteria they follow in SBI, to shortlist the candidates?
