My wife's medical report was submitted on Tuesday 22nd Dec.
So I went to the SBI zonal office today at Mumbai to
inquire regarding appointment letter. First i was told that
she will be called by phone with original certificate and
then appointment letter will be issued.When i informed
about her pregnancy then I was informed that if she is
temporarly unfit she will not receive any phone call or
letter she would have to wait for the delivery and then she
can come with medically fit report.

Though i wanted to ask few questions but they were in no
mood to answer so i came back.

What i wanted to know was whether they will issue any such
letter in this regard? or she would have to go on her own
after delivery with that one page call letter, which hardly
has any content in it.

Today afternoon,I have received the message on cell that
the joining date is 5th jan, and have to collect the
appointment letter on 3rd jan at the admin unit, vja.

Can anyone tell the address of the admin unit,vja and

So, it is a private firm.

as for my accepting the clerical cadre goes "IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS". But, since you wanted to know why I accepted it, it is because it is a GOVERNMENT JOB.

I am not acting decent. I AM DECENT UNLIKE YOU.

Please do some research before you talk about something.

If it is a government firm as you said, where did u get such information. Could you enlighten us with your sources please.

nice to hear from u so promptlly

actually i had gone there thrice but came back as long
queues were there
i went on friday and get my name entered in the register.
they have tld me to come on tuesday at 2pm
so i wud go there tomorrow at these times.

so all formalities wud b done tomorrow only
where r u going for the test kindly let me know the fees??????
is the same fees applicable at all centres???

n remember go early for the test n with a empty stomach to
reduce sugar levels...........

hey guys i attended my interview on 29th April in a delhi zone.They were asking so simple question that i was surprised. I preapred day and night for the interview collecting all the question from this link and other site as well as from GS book but they simply asked 1) tell us about ur family 2) about u 3) Why u want to join banking and not IT . 4) Advantages and disadvantages of computer. 5) Where is hawamahal. 6) about pink city 7) who discovered electron. 8) who invented telephone. that's all I think it was just waste of time preparing banking related questions.
