hello frnds once again congratulations .............. i m
from Ahmedabad circle,i have completed my medical nd i m
given training letter from 9th feb to 14 feb at
ahmedabad........... they told me that they will dispetch
our appoinment letter to our home befor 3rd jan(eagerly
waiting for it)......... nd saurabh is saying ryt............
Clerical cadre means not only bank cleark we can given any
clerical work.......... either in bank,in zonal office,in
life insurance any firm of sbi............ it is said to me
by zonal hr manager.............

Hi Jay..

I was too busy with my work thats why late posting.I went
to LHO on 22nd to enquire about my medical test. They told
me to attend the medical test that day itself and to bring
my certificates for varification. I came back with my
certificates at 1 pm on same day. After varification , i
was asked to meet SBI's Medical consultant. And for further
test i hah to go to Richmond clinic at Richmond circle.
I collected a copy of my medical test result from the
clinic on 23rd.The Clinic management will send the original
medical test results to LHO on 24th morning.

My Medical test result was normal.I called up LHO on 26th
they told me if my medical results was normal, then they
will send the joining letter on or before 3rd January.

So, i have to wait few more days to get any updates.

Clear one thing yaar like many people among us like HETAL
is saying that his training will start from 9th feb to 15
feb. whatever so means we r not going to join training
togather,,?? then on 5th for what they r calling us..????
if they will give any date like in the month of February or
March then till then what we will do ??? after resigning we
have to sit at home only..so there is no work after 5th
Jan. ????
I could not understand this......!!!

All the hyderabad circle people who had their medicals in
vijayawada,

I have called the zonal office in Vijayawada today and they
were telling me that we will receive our appointment letters
by 3rd and we will have to go to the zonal office in
vijayawada on 3rd or 4th.

As far as I can say we will be posted not far from our home
towns, so be cool and keep posting.

Hi Guys

How are you all. Hey some one said clerical cadre means sbi
can post in any of their units and specially sbi life
insurance. Oh god i am working in same industry and earning
about 14k as back office executive and now at the time i am
leaving my present, the company had offered me upto 18k.
what to do? I thought we have to work in state bank of
india guys and as a government servant. agar sbi life ki
job hogi to phir 18k kya bura tha. sbi life insurance is
not a government unit. It is one kind of private sector
company. We will get the benefits like goverment sector but
we want be considered as governement servant.They can treat
us anyway they want such as they can ask us to do marketing
or work upto 11.00 clock in the night or whatever they
want. Presently I am going through this stage i am working
up 10.00 clock daily and i was suffering thats why i
accepted sbi job. I want to request you to all guys please
yaar agar tum sab ko right information hain to hi is blog
par post karo other wise it will create confusion and
tension.

Please dosto confirm karo agar sbi life mein shyad kaam
karne ka hoga to phir band bajegi.

Pankaj,

The clerical cadre tests and promotions are conducted by
crpd(central recruitment and promotional department) of sbi
and these recruitments are for only sbi and its associate
banks. I dont think crpd recruits for sbi life insurance.
As far as I can say we will be placed in state bank of india
branches or zonal and local offices, but not in life
insurance. If so they would have told us in the
advertisement itself.

That is as per my knowledge, but any other information also
will be appreciated.

Hi friends i am M.Ponraj, i have been selected for the post of Sorting Assistant in RMS'T'Division(Tiruchirapalli), Department of Posts, India on December 29th 2009. In trichy division 23 candidates were selected and 10 of them were given induction training and they are to be posted in trichy division. I am waiting for the induction training. In the mean time i got selected in the SBI-Clerk written exam and attended the interview for it in Chennai on 26th April 2010. nothing was asked to me relating to banking, only subject questions were asked, and i could answer only a few. Should it be consider as a black mark ?
