If you are in the middle of typing a Solaris Unix password
and you fat finger it, <Ctrl-U> will clear the incorrect
text you have entered and you can immediately retype the
entry while at the same prompt.

OR
shift+backspace and enter correct password......it will
works with out any harm to system.

ctrl+w to remove the complete word and also do shift +
backspace ...you may try both(no harm)either one would do
the trick....

ctrl+u is currect answer because
BZZZZzz we cont possible to go back space r removeing
on unix admin
we hav only possible Eitheru can enter the passwd and then
after re enter passwd
(or) u can go to ctrl+u these two only u have options
