As soon as v get the build smoke testing is done first,
We need to test the bassic basic functionalities, ie r v
able to login, r the links correct, is the pin provided is
working etc..

after getting the build from development team we have to
conduct monkey testing or sanity testing i.e we have to
check basic functionalities of the system and find the
possible defect area

The first test which will be done by testing team is Smoke testing or adhoc testing.. where the tester will check whether the basic functionality is working or not.. whether the code is stable to go for further testing.

As we get the build we do the BVT(Build verification testing) or Smoke testing to verify that build is appropriate and all the major functionality of the application is working as per the flow.We do check that any blockage comes or not and if yes then workaround for that blocker.

As soon as we get the build very first thing what we need to
to do is install/flash(telecom domain)
Then after that we need to do sanity testing

there are 100 test cases. and u got a bug at 85th test cases. u reported it to dev and dev fixed that bug. when u r doing regression testing from whic test case u'll do tetsing?? will start from 85 th test case are u'll execute 100 test cases??
