Main advantages:- time saving...
Eg:- If we have 1000 pc and have to assign ip address to
all of them, it will take a lot's of hour's . It's not a
easy job.
It is usefull to give ip address to all 1000 pc within a
minute.
---dhcp server provide the dynamic ip address to the client
or workgroup machine in your network.
---Ip address are conserved because dhcp assign them only
when client request one.
---earlier concept of dhcp is bootp {no support for
lifetime of lease line}
