Generally build is a inegrated module,which contains the
fixes for your previous builds bugsGenerally we will
recievie the builds in daily basis,weekly basis.
Once we completed the testing on our software,before we
rolling out that software to our client,we will select a
final build,which is almost defect free and we will take
that build as release build.That release build will be
introduced in the market for end-users.

Difference number one:Builds refer to software that is
still in testing, release refers to software that is
usually no longer in testing.
Difference number two: Builds occur more frequently;
releases occur less frequently.

hi all I have an overall experience of 12 years working in an EDP setup(worked in a manufacturing setup in a German MNC). On my request, I was relieved from my duties in Sep 06 for maternity reasons. However I would like to pursue a career in a software organization as a manual tester. I obtained my proficiency certificate in Software Testing from STAG SOFTWARE LIMITED 2 months ago i.e in May and would now like to continue working in this field. However I am unable to find a job until now. If anybody knows of a opening at bangalore, kindly let me know.
In waterfall model, while your are coding if you happen to know that one of the requirement was wrong and there will be no use in implementing it and moreover it is going to cause problems to the final output. Then do you have the flexibility to go back and change the requirement? Is this flexibility there in Vmodel?
