Hi.....I am going to attend the H1B visa interview.. I am a
software programmer working on asp.net.I would like to know
if the consulate people will ask some technical questions.
What all other things should i remember.And what type of
question ask in interview....

The consulate people does not ask any technical questions.
But they will ask questions on your education, employer,
your present job, and US job details etc., So you need to
be very confident while answering questions. Ask your
employer to provide all necessary documents before going to
interview.

i have attended h1b on 23rd of this month at chennai consulate.VO gave me 221(g) blue form and asked me to drop all the docs which she was ticked.my problem is i didn't kept the copies of ds-156,157,.....i tried to download from vfs site.but while providing the information i got invalid mother's name even i entered it correctly.what i have to do?how can i get these documents.please help me.

hai i am suthahar my h1b interview date is(oct16-2008) ,i am a software enginner from coimbatore, i have complted MCA My current company experience 1.8 years I have completed BSC(2001-2004) my college time is 6-1(BSC) Remaing(2-10) i had worked as technical support enginner from csc computer center( 3 years ) ,pudukkottai I had fill application for currenct company experience ==>1.8 years previes company experience ==>3 years how to explain about my experience? and this is part time or full time (I haveoffer leter and experience leter,photos also)
I applied for my H1B this year .At the time of filing the application I mentioned London as the preferred location for the interview.However, I might be shifting back to India pretty soon and I may not be in UK at the time of stamping. Will that be a problem ? Will I be able to attend the interview in India. Is there any thing that I need to do do shift the interview to some other location. Please help me with this. I attended H1B interview at Hyderabad consulate on 30/04/2009. I have been handed over with a 221G white form and asked to provide more documents from petetioner. The VO also held my original Educational documents with him. Will this be a problem ? I hold my post graduate degree from National Institute of Technology, Warangal.
H1B approved in October 2008 I got H1B Approval NoticeI-797B form which is valid from 3rd October 2008 to 21st September 2011.i still did'nt went for Visa stamping.I would like to ask few questions in this regard. 1.When is the correct time to go for stamping? 2.As i have applied from a consultancy so do i need to take any new employment offer letter from a new YYY company? 3.Presently i am working in XXX company?What should i carry from this XXX company? 4.If visa interviewer asks "If ur visa is been approved long time back then why you are coming now?" I want a perfect answer for this question. 5.I had applied for F1 visa long back in the year 2007 where it got rejected for some reasons will that affect my H1B visa? 6.As my H1B approval period of three years is getting complete when should i renew my H1b?Whether i should renew it in US or India?What is this employment stat date?I can't see this employment start date on my H1B approval I-797B Form?How many years visa will be given? and don't forget to answer this " What is the correct time to go for stamping and flew to US? I want all the answers for all the above queries.Give me answers As much as possible of your Knowledge.Do not Ignore this as these would help any one sailing in the same boat.
