yrs exp in manual. we are using only excel sheet for
preparing bug report. Now i want to search job in other
company..I dont have any idea about bug tracking
tool..should i know abt any bug tracking tool to get better
job?

Dont worry for not haven worked on Bug Tracking Tool. IF u
confident enough to convince the intwr it shouldnt
matter..boz my company too is still using excel sheet to
track bugs since 6 years. To be on safer side, u can jst
login into bugziala.com. and hv a feel of hw the software
works out. no need to buy any as such.

bug tracking tool is just like a database which stores bugs.
It helps both tester and developer to check the status quite
easily.
The developer fix bugs according to priority and severity.
Check out any bug tracking tool like bugzilla.
You can understand the tool very easily.

Bug tracking tools are not very difficult to use , so dont
bother much about it. If your testing concepts are clear
you will be able to get job in a Huge company . FYI one of
the bug tracking tool is Mercury Quality Center.
