Hi all.. I can remember an important bug i found during the
testing of a remote backing up software. I have tested the
product with numerous file types and found it is perfectly
working with them. But accidentally i found that the system
crashes with a blank file. That means, i created a blank
notepad file by right clicking and selecting the new notepad
option and i uploaded it. Then the system crashed. It
happened with all other files like word, excel also.. And if
u type a single letter in the notepad and upload it, there
was no problem.. AS it was the eve of releasing the product,
i think it was a serious bug.. :)

which i found one bug:
in that on the home page of that application in menu
there is REPORTS menu while clicking on that the
application get crash.

now i am working one "Job portal" project like
"naukari".
here the main bug is
there are totally 2 modules are there like
1.user
2.admin(he is maintaining all the details about user)
if user is disabled his all details(with regarding personal
details,educational details)and all
Admin should not view all these details
but in present project all the user details were visible for
admin.

I was working on Wachovia (Bank) online application and I
came across a critical bug...

The ip address of tne user who tries to login to the
application giving invalid credentials for 2-3 times gets
logged as a watchlist list ip.

If the user tries to login to the application using the
same ip again..he would be shown secret ques/ans (which he
might have given to the bank at the time of account
creation.)On answering correctly he would be authenticated
and view his details.

The issue was that with the watchlist ip the user should
not be able to change his credentials like
password/pin/codeword.However, this was not working as
such...and change in the cred was possible...

Hi All,

I am working with Shipping domain ( Part of Supply chain
management)and came across a critical bugs..

1)Most critical bug.
If you want to send a package Chicago to New York. Then
select the carrier (UPS,DHL,FedEx,USPS) and there service.
after shipment i found that on the label it should print the
all information but it not display the information
(City,State,Zip Code)in the Maxi code on the label.

(This bug is critical that is because of the packages are
sorted on the label information and label display the maxi
code which is having wrong information. So it will not
shorted to city for which the package is sent and this
package is miss out and customer get affected.)

I was working in a publishing company and while testing a
web application, I found a very big bug.
I was testing an online assessment for college students. In
order to do the testing I have to complete a assessment as
a student user.
- I have completed the 100 questions of assessment and
submitted. Then I got the result, as out of 100 questions
my score was 90.Then I want to send that result to my email
and I want to take a printout. In order to do that I used E-
mail button and sent it to my email account and used print
button to print the result.
There was a big defect in my email result and in my
printout. My email and my print out the score were changed.
Now in my email and my printout showing as the score I got
are 70.
There was some coding problem and later they fixed the
issue.

Everybody said in my group, that’s a great catch!

What should I do if the name of the field is change in new version?How should I maintain it in Test Case Document?
