(alcohol).
after adding 5 liter water it becomes 12+5=17 (water)& 3
(alc.).
ie. 17:3 and answer will be 85:15. ie. 15%.

then alcohol contents would be 0.2X ltrs
so X+ 0.2X = 15 ltrs
so X=1.25 ltrs
now add 5 ltrs of water so total volume will be 20 ltrs
so now the % is 1.25*100/20 = 6.25%
