Test Director we can manage and tracking the test cases.
We can raise the defect,assigne the defect to the developer
and track the defect.
We can get the reports on defects, defect age, passed test
cases,failed test cases,Unable to run test cases etc.....

Any kind of testing tool or management tool usage is same as it
is in the documents of that corresponding tools.Especially
TD which im using for the past 4 yrs this thoery holds true.
For example in stead of using the defect tracking feature
in test director some comnaies opt for Bugzilla etc.. But
There is not difference in the theory and real time usage.

Using Test Director (Now Quality center) we can perform
Release management (new feature in QC ) , Requirement
analysis, Test planning , Test executionm, defect
management etc. Here we will be having traceability matrix
features too. Its a complete Test management Tool which can
be used in any S/w oraganisation for above features.

Hi All, Im currently getting to grips with the Document Generator in Test Director and have a query. We use TD to link requirements to test cases and I am attempting to produce a report which lists the requirement and the test case it is linked to. I cant see a way to do this as the test case link info resides on the Coverage page and it appears the only field available to display for requirements reports within document generator as those on the 'details' tab. Any tips?
