why we give a big deal importantnce to a GUI testing

If the application is not satisfying for look and feel its
a major bug and we give high priority
ex; Upon the client vist all the GUI will be given high
prority.
In the appliacation if the fields are not properly alligned,
missing of text/logo,no consistency..
