1. A View does not exist as a separate entity in the database but provides an alternative way of querying data. Dip, on the other hand, is a tool used for creating and managing various aspects of a database.
2. A View is read-only unless it contains a SELECT INTO statement or is created using UNION ALL.
3. Dip is not a concept in SQL Server but is a tool provided by Microsoft for managing the Sybase database.
