Describe and interpret qualitatively the evidence provided by electron diffraction for the wave natu..

Answer / Kailash Das

Electron diffraction experiments provide clear evidence for the wave-like behavior of particles, such as electrons. In an electron diffraction experiment, a beam of electrons is passed through a crystal or grating and then detected on a screen. The patterns observed on the screen consist of discrete spots, demonstrating that the electrons behave like waves with constructive and destructive interference, much like light waves passing through a double-slit experiment.
