What is multicasting?

What is multicasting?..

Answer / Atif

Multicasting is a method of sending a single copy of a message to multiple destinations simultaneously. In networking, it allows one sender to send data to a specific group of receivers instead of broadcasting the same message to all connected devices. Multicast addresses are defined in Class D (224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255) of the IP address space.
