yes it is possible to launch QTP IN Test Director

TD is Test Management tools all the requirement,planning
executing and defect reporting every thing can be done in
one place

1)to launch Qtp in test Director u need to download QTP addins

2)it possible to store all ur QTP-script in td and u can
execute in TD as TD is a web based application ur lead can
check the progress from on site

3)there are one ways to launch QTP(if u have the
corresponding add in of QTP u can launch it from test
plan->tab script tab-> u have a option to launch QTP there

4)they are two ways u can store ur script in TD
->u can open it directly from test plan-> script tab u have
a option to launch ur QTP u can launch from there

5)U can even connect ur QTP to Test director u have a option
in tools->connect to Quality Center once u are connect u can
execute ur script in QTP and post the defect directly in TD
with out opening TD(i.e a windows get displayed for defect
reporting which has all the field which are present in TD so
u are going assign it corresponding feild

I am trying to write a descriptive program for clicking on a perticular link.For that i wanted an index or location of that object.But when I viewing through spy, There was no index property of that object.What to do for getting index value.How can I get index? please any one let me know.

Hi, I want to write the script for a webpage. But i didn't added the properties of the objects to the object repository. Without adding the object properties to the object repository, how to write the script. When i am writing the script, Let us say i typed as Browser (""). after selecting ".", if the object is added to the object repository it will display atomatically. But in my case it is not as i didn't added the object properties. How to proceed further in the above mentioned case to write the script manually. Pls let me know if you didn't understand the question.
