Show stopper is a critical issue(Bug), which will not let
the tester proceed with testing the application. Unless and
otherwise show stopper is fixed, testers cannot do the
further testing.

Show stopper is critical bug severity 1 and we cannot test
further lets take an small example
if suppose anyone want to check their mail using yahoo or
gmail etc the moment to enter your user id and password,
the application(website)should open to check all the mails,
but inthis case you cannot see the application it will
throw the error. so the user cannot go further that type of
error is call show stopper

Show Stopper is the bug who break the functionality of the
application.
ex. Suppose when u click on the link or button , it will be
crash the application like "server not found page" and give
some server error explanation and u cannot proceed further
for testing.
These bug have high priority and high severity in testing cycle.

If a S/W or application contains any showstopper bug, it
cant be release into market.
