If we find any defect then we will raise in a defect
tracking tool and assigning to the developer in same tool.

Use Can use Bugzilla
Its nice tool.

You can mail defect to Test lead, Developers, test Manager.
But mail format is quite boring

Anyone know any tool with high class mail formating?
Please reply if u hv worked on dat.

the developer and send mail through QC to the developer
with details about defect.

Through Defect Tracking System (When we log a defect it
will automatically trigge mail to assigned developer.)

We will post the defect in the defect tracking tool used in
the company and assigned to the developer and set its state
as "New"

The process I follow is:
1) Fail the respective Test script, if TC exist for the bug.
2) Gather the Required Docs (Screenshot, Error Log, etc)to
report the Bug.
3) Prepare the bug in Respective bug Template and send it
to Testlead for approval.
4) If approved Add the Bug in Bug tracking Tool.
a) Enter Bug Description
b) Steps to reproduce the Bug
c) Expected Result
5) Add the email ids of the Concerned persons in bugzilla.
6) Attach the necessary documents in Bugzilla.
7) Add the supporting document details (Like UC version..)
8) Add the Responsible Developer as "Development Team
Lead", they will in turn reassign it to the respective
developer.
9) Keep the issue status as "Open".
8) Generate the Issue in Bugzilla.
9) If TCs doesn't exist for the Bug, identify the
respective Testobjectives and develop Testcases and map the
TCs with the Bug ID.

we will report our defect hrough BUG TRACKING TOOL
ORIENTEAD REPORTING.
bug tracking tool means s/w application which can be
accessed only by authorized people & provides all
facilities for bug-tracking & reporting.
in which we will maintain Common Reposiotory(CR)
& in tht Defect Profile Template(DFT).
all of test engineers will enter in to CR & updates
their defects in DFT so tht Developers will enter in to CR
& will check tee defects.if they accepts tht defects the
will download & rectifies.
