(D) Silver;
then copper, gold, and aluminum in that order.
Silver pound for pound is the best conductor of electricity
and has the lowest resistance.
Copper is most commonly used since it is very inexpensive
and is only slightly less of a conductor than silver.
Gold is used mainly because of it's reliability and ability
to not tarnish over time though it is the most expensive of
the four.
Aluminum is the fourth best conductor and is used primarily
in housing wiring for inexpensive purposes. The only
problem with aluminum is since it is such a light metal, it
shows unreliable over time and tarnishes easier as well.

(D) Silver
because
1) Very Low Resistivity 15.9 nΩ m.
2) Silver and Gold are the only metals, being found in a pure form from the earth.
3) silver is a good conductor of electricity like many other metals because the atoms that make up a piece of silver will have many free electrons that can be moved by applying voltage across it. These moving electrons are known as an electric current and they are necessary for making electrical and electronic equipment work correctly.

D. Silver.... anyone who disagrees didn't do the research,
they're just making their own judgment calls based on the
value or commonality of the material and talking out their
asses.
Look it up, it's Silver.

Silver is best if it's well sheilded and soldered,
protected from corrosion. Gold is best if it's a surface
contact, like an RCA cable, because it's resistent to
corrosion. Copper is a little better for conductivity than
gold but not as good as silver but silver tarnishes a
little easier than copper making copper the happy medium.
