To connect to Quality Center (QC) using Automated Object Model (AOM), follow these steps:
1. Install the HP UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and QTP (QuickTest Professional) add-on for QC.
2. Launch UFT or QTP, then create a new project or open an existing one.
3. Click on 'Record' to start recording your actions in the QC application.
4. Perform the necessary operations within QC as you would like them to be automated.
5. Once you are done with recording, click on 'Stop Recording'. UFT will generate VBScript or C# code that represents the recorded steps.
6. Save the generated script and modify it as needed for your specific test case requirements.

Now it appears to be more than enough... I have learn entire QTP, I did whatever I could do but still facing lots of problem and those problems could be removed only after working in professional atmosphere. But still unable to expose myself as professionaly. It is becoming panic, It has been two years I am in manual testing and looking for the change but all the recruiters ask for QTP, but my problem is I don't have working experience with QTP. Kindly suggest me I really need effective suggestions. I dont have more caliber to work with present organization cause of salary reasons...boo.. hooo...hooo. While testing .net applications with QTP 9.1 in normal recording mode, QTP records my unintentional mouse clicks and window dragging which I don't want. But I can't stop QTP recording those mouse clicks and window dragging. Can somebody let me know how I can get rid of it, please ! Thanks.
