There are two water tanks A and B, A is much smaller than B.
While water fills at the rate of 1 liter every hour in A, it
gets filled up like, 10, 20, 40,80, 160…..in tank B. 1/8 th
of the tank B is filled in 22 hours. What is the time to
fill the tank fully?

While water fills at the rate of 1 liter every hour in A,
(So we have a flow rate of 1 ltr/hr. OK)
it gets filled up like, 10, 20, 40,80, 160….
(what is it? Is it tank A? What do the numbers mean?)
.in tank B. 1/8 th of the tank B is filled in 22 hours.
What is the time to fill the tank fully?
(If it takes 22 hrs to fill 1/8 of take B, then it will
take 22 hrs x 8 to fill tank B or 176 hrs.)

1/8 filled in 22 hrs
for every hour there is a doubling of liters...
so
2/8 filled in 23 hrs becomes 1/4
2/4 filled in 24 hrs becomes 1/2
2/2 filled in 25th hrs which becomes 1
so it takes 25 hrs to fill the tank completely....
answer is 25 hrs

so
total time required is x
(x/8)=22hr
2(x/8)=23hr
x/2=24hr
x=25hr
