There are only 3 components in the Load Runner
1. Virtual User Generator.
2. Controller ( used to schedule and execute the laod
scenario, load generators are part of controller)
3. Analysis ( used to analyse the load test result)
Based on analysis, we can tune the performance of an
application. This tuning is in the control of developers,
and is not part of Load runner to the best of my knowledge.

1)RCL - Remote Command Lanchur (makes original request as
remote request)
2)vgen - virtual user generater (generates no.of vusers)
3)port mapper- applies all vuser transaction on build
4)controller scenario
5) result analyzer
RCL and port mapper are internal processes (not visible)

How do you perform functional testing under load?
Is there any special setting required in internet explorer or laod runner VUGen to prepare script in load runner using seibel web protocol. is it same like web-Http/Html?

I have observed a scanrio executed/elapsed time in 16 seconds and succeded, when I set the duraion to 'Run Until Completion'. Same scanrio is failed/Gradually exited/stopped, when I set the time duration for 20 seconds (after the Ramp up has been completed). Why it is haapedned.
