I attended the interview at chennai on 1 Aug 2011 for a B1 visa. I have only one year experience and i got my VISA approved. So its not the experience or the job that matters. I think it is your presentation and the confidence with which you face the Visa officer at the interview. Remember, the Visa officer, is asking you all the questions with constant doubt, if you will return to india, at the end of your assignment. I would suggest you pick up the list of questions asked to the different categories of interviewees and practice answering them loud and clear, before you go for the interview next time. 1. Why do you want to travel to the USA? 2. What company do you work for? 3. What do you do? 4. What is your annual income? 5. Have u ever visited any other country other than home. 6. Can I see you Business/visiting card? 7. Who will look after your business in our absence (if you are a business man). 8. Do you have a credit card? 9. How many children do u have? And where they are? What do they do? 10. Do you have any relatives in USA? 11. How long will you be staying in USA? 12. Will you work there? 13. Will you come back? 14. How can you assure me that you will come back?
Why can't the persons whom you are going to meet in US come to meet you here?

Hi all , Today i attended the US B1 visa interview in chennai and unfortunately got rejected .They questions which were asked to me was: 1.Where place you are going? 2.Why you are going? 3.How many years of experience you have ? 3.My annual income? i answered all the questions confidently but i feel that i got rejected because of my years of experience and my income.I'm a fresher and having just 8 months of experience ? Does experience and annual income matter a lot?

Hi - I had attended US B1 visa interview on 19th July 2017 (Wednesday) and I got "rejected". The The counselor had given the reason for 214 (B) section, I got 30 reasons for rejection after I had checked in google, Can someone help me?
