I’m running a Technical Writing Training Center for the
past 6 months. I'm from India. I intend to expand my
business in the areas of 'US English Accent training,
geting accrediated by a US University . can i apply for b1
visa citing these reasons with my brother as sponsor. (my
brother is holding us citizenship)

dear friend,
my suggestion is as below,
1, get a business lead in usa and get a invitation letter
fro them to obtain a b1 visa.
2, or if you try through your brother for new business in
usa then definitely the chances to obtain is very low
instead you can use your brother to sponsor for a b2 visa
where after you travel to states you can get clients to
obtain b1 visa later.
3, also there are many chances that you may obtain b1/b2
multiple entry visa on you b2 visa.

Hello, i am planning to open a virtual store on a well know website in USA with two american business partners, they agreed to sponsor me and provide a residence for me, i will be responsible for managing as well as shipping & handling of the merchandise, i dont have any work experience in managing, my question is...can i apply for a working visa in US? How Long you gonna stay in US? I replied 3 weeks. VC replied its too long for meetings and rejested the visa. Please help me with the suitable answer for this long stay.

I am an Indian studying in Germany for the past 2 years (from 2007). In 2008, I applied for a B1 visa and got rejected. And the counsellor gave the reason that i am not staying long enough to travel USA. At that time, I have completed 16 months. Now, 2009, again I am applying. And my interview will be on 22nd april.
