1) I have 5000 test cases within 3 working days u have to
finish? How you will handle it.
2) Difference between Relase-1 and Relase-2
Answer / nitin sharma
You didn't mention that these test cases have to be
completed by you or whole team but as per my experience
If we have 5000 test cases and time is short i.e 3 days then
1.We first filter them into higher priority test cases then
from that take major functinalities Scenarios,It will take
half-day
2.Use Equivalence partioning(Read it) method in which we can
reduce our test case further
3.Concentrate More on test case related to GUI and UI
4.So may be in this way you can reduce your effort.
Release:It is a project release of which time is decided by
the client before starting of the project and dev and
testers would plan their task according to that.Release will
be plan according to buildwise,Suppose in build1 client have
some requirements given to him in Release1 then if he added
some more requirements then they will be fixed in build2 i.e
Release2 so this is a Iterative process
