Does accomodation is provided for tax assistant in cbdt and what are facilities other than salaries such as medical,leave fair concession etc?My all india rank in cgle 2010 is 184 and 31 in wb may I expect joining in wb or have to sacrifice my state and if so then is there any scope for transfer.Kindly reply.

yes, accomodation is provided but ur HRA will be deducted
from ur gross salary.
U will get all benefits (e.g. medical facilities) which a
central govt employee is entitled for.
Could u plz tell me the sources by which u got to know that
ur rank is 31 in WB as the final result is not yet
published in employment newspaper.
ICT(Inter Commissionerate Transfer)is banned at presnt so
once u r appointed in a state, u have to complete all ur
service in that particular state.
