1) ORACLE_BASE has been introduced
2) ADR(Automatic Diagnostic Repository) added ( instead of udump, bdump, cdump in oracle 10g)
3) Case sensitive passwords
4) Data recovery advisor in RMAN
5) For db cloning in RMAN "from active database" command
6) SYSASM system level privilege has been introduced
7) New initialization parameter memory_target (instead of sga_target & pga_target)
