At the end of 9 hours it will be 2560 litres filled ...but the actual fuultank is 2080 only ...so answer shoul be somwhere between 8 and 9 hours ...may be 8and 1/2 hrs..
btw ..in tcs at VRSE it was asked the same question as tank B is 1/32 filled in 3 hrs ,then full tank will be 1280 and it will be done in 8 hrs ...so the answer is 8 hrs..:)

from Give data its clear dat 20*2=40 , 40*2=80, 80*2=160 which means 4 evry hour water quantity is getting doubled
therfore at 13th hour tank is 1/16 th filled
at 14th hour its 1/16*2=1/8 filled
at 15th hour its 1/8*2=1/4 filled
at 16th hour its 1/4*2=1/2 filled
at 17th hour its 1/2*2=1 so.....completely filled
ans is 17
