I am from Egypt and i have my f1 visa interview in 2 days
and i need help with a question , i have a bachelor degree
in mechanical engineer and i am changing my field and going
to USA to make bachelor degree in web design "if the
consular asked me why have u changed your field " what do i
say ?

Note : I am changing my field because i didn't choose
mechanical engineer as here is Egypt college is 5 years the
first year is called preparatory year you have to get high
grade in this year to be able to choose what department u
want but i got 77 percent which wasn't high enough to let me
enter computer science so i was forced to enter mechanical
engineer but i didn't like it , so what do i say? do i say
this story or the consular will not like it ?

hi sir.i have my visa interview on 7 jan 2011..i have only one i-20 waiting for other admits..and i have not taken gre...and i have taken ielts and got 5.5..and i have good academic background ssc-76% inter-89% btech-71%(without backlogs)....please tell i will get visa or not...and also what i should answer if visa consulor asks why you have not taken gre....please help me...reply soon....

hello, i ent for an interview last week here in the Gambia, i got a good results and a strong bank statement and yet i was rejected.
