considering sequential manner... if the 12 programmers each take 1 minute in writing a line...so for twelve programmers it takes 12 minutes... similarly 72 programmers can write 72 lines sequentially in 72 minutes..
i dont know whether this is correct... but its my view .. since anyother options doesnot match....
and if it is simultaneous then 432 is the answe which is not given in the options
