WHAT IS COMPATABILITY TESTING..

Answer / balu kalkur

Testing the functionality of an application in different
software and hardware environment is called Compatibility
testing.

Why we do Compatibility testing?
we might have developed the s/w in 1platform – chances are
there that users might use it in different platforms – thus
it could lead to defects and bugs – people may stop using
the s/w – thus business will be affected and hence we do
Compatibility Testing.
