i got selected in cgl 2008 as auditor in controller of
defence accounts.it is in the pay band 5200-20200 and its
G.P is 2800. what is the approximate salary i should get on
joining.

net salary 20553

this is highest salary for your post in X top class city.
For X class--- hra 30%, ta 1600+45%
For Y class--- hra 20%, ta 800+45%
For Z class--- hra 10%, ta 600+45%
