I AM WRITING THIS ANSWER BY MYSELF BECAUSE I
WANT TO REMOVE THE DOUBTS OF NEW CANDIDATES AND ASPIRANTS
REGARDING SCORES.MANY WEBSITES ARE FULL OF ABSURD CLAIMS OF
CANDIDATES CLAIMING ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE SCORES WHICH
DISCOURAGE NEW ENTRANTS. I AM A SELECTED CANDIDATE IN
INCOME TAX. I SHOW YOU THE MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM SCORES OF
SELECTED CANDIDATES. THIS WILL HELP YOU TO JUDGE YOURSELF
WHETHER YOU MAY BE CALLED FOR AN INTERVIEW OR NOT.
IN 2008 FINAL RESULT : GENERAL CATEGORY
MAXIMUM SCORE IN POSTS OF INSPECTOR - INCOME TAX 538/700
MINIMUM SCORE ........... - INS OF POSTS 401/700
MAXIMUM SCORE IN ASSISTANTS -CYPHER ASSISTANT 537/700
MINIMUM SCORE IN ASSISTANTS -I.B 399/700
I AM NOT ABLE TO RECALL THE DATA OF OUR BATCH 2006 BUT
STILL I REMEMBER THAT THE MAXIMUM SCORE WAS 556/700 IN
INCOME TAX SCORED BY NIRBHAY AND MINIMUM WAS AROUND 423(NOT
SURE).
SO DEAR FRIENDS DO NOT LOOSE HOPES YOU SEE WHEN CANDIDATES
ARE GETTING SELECTIONS AFTER SCORING 425+
AND SUPPOSE THEY ARE AWARDED 45 IN INTERVIEW SO IN THAT
CASE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CALLED EVEN IF YOU SCORE AROUND
360+ SO START PREPARING FOR INTERVIEW...

I GOT 99 MARKS IN ENGLISH AND 124 MARKS IN MATHS. Ie TOTAL=223 IN SSC CGL TIER II EXAM. I AM AN OBC CANDIDATE. CAN I PASS TIER II EXAM AND WHAT WILL BE THE CUT OF MARK FOR TIER II EXAMINATION? ....PLS HELP ME
ssc cgl2012 i got 62.50 marks in tier1 and my name is in list TA only minimum cutoff for the SC cate. candidates is 62.50 but in tier2 i got 142 marks in maths and 104.50 marks in english but unfortunately yet my name is in list4 TA only and i calling for DEST at delhi on 26th nov. and i did but i was little bit worried about my typing test if i will not pass typing test then i got any post even i secured much marks? I m belong to SC category. Pls anybody knows tell me what can be done? cutoff marks for the interview post for the SC candidates is 284, and for TA is 236 and for the non- interview post which i was choose 1st preference is 254. pls tell me if anybody knows

hi I AM ADITYA FROM HYDERABAD I HAVE BEEN SELECTED AS TAX ASSISTANT IN C.B.E.C through T.A 2008. Acutally recently the withheld result was released in that i got 497 rank and i didn't receive any intimation letter from SSC, Chennai. when i contacted them they said that the information posting on SSC site is sufficient, and i can wait for the orders from Delhi. Is there anybody selected in T.A 2008 exams, since the options given in the application are all customs only, no mention of Excise. So, i was wondering how they will post me in customs or excise. please revert back on this forum or my mail id is lalitaprasad77@gmail.com
