hi all,
My employer tcs has told me that they are filing for my h1 b visa
but i am currently working in a domestic project.
Will they file my visa or is it just another ploy to control
attrition?

Hi, I have not filed my IT returns for 2008-09 as my income was NIL due to unemployment. IT dept.even refused to accept a NIL form. If I do get a job offer from US and have to apply for a business visa, would I need IT returns for 08-09?

Hi, I am working for Company X and Company Y, which I will join after Visa approved has already filed my H1 and I need to take an appointment. Now my Company X is planning for my Visa which could be L or H. What I am afraid of is that if I dont join the Company Y for which I may getthe Visa stamped or "Pending for administrative processing" inwhich they may keep my passport. Please suggest should I hold my visa interview for Company Y or ther willnot be any problem in both cases? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

My certificates(10+2 onwards) are having the Surname of my parents mentioned but my Passport(which was made based on 10th certificate where even my name was without surname and I made it after changing my name adding the surname) is not having the surname of my parents mentioned. My question is, will it be a problem for me when I apply the H1B visa? I do have the US B1 visa. I applied for my H1B this year .At the time of filing the application I mentioned London as the preferred location for the interview.However, I might be shifting back to India pretty soon and I may not be in UK at the time of stamping. Will that be a problem ? Will I be able to attend the interview in India. Is there any thing that I need to do do shift the interview to some other location. Please help me with this.
