recently i got a job as a q.a tester in a bank.the
application am going to work is credit cards.the environment
will be java ,oracle,qtp quality center,VSAM,CICS,WINDOWSNT
.we will be working on mainframes too.can any exp persons
help me to understand the scenario and what all shud i learn
to perform better(worried abt the frontend ,backend,and the
architecture as whole)kindly help me

How Can I do database Testing ?
sanity testing and smoke testing both are same or not? what is mean by Build Acceptance Test?
In manual testing (web based testing)interview, interviewer asked me "How you connect to the database?" What is the answer for this question
Is there any template for Test case review? or if it is, include it?

As there are different builds for every version & any build can release to the client.I m using Excell sheet for Test Case writting. Then Am I write Version No/build No.newly added feature test cases. Because when that build again release for testing I can understand that this build have that feature.
I get a .exe build for testing.What type of application is that.I mean whether it is web based or ----. I know it is not web based,but pls let me know what is the application that i have to mention in my resume.
Why does Software have bugs? urgent pls .....
