what is aom and how to add object repository? i am very new to QTP please help me..

Answer / Vivek Pachauri

In QuickTest Professional (QTP), an Object Repository (OR) stores all the UI elements, properties, and their corresponding actions that are used in test scripts. To add objects to the OR: 1) Record a test using QTP's record and playback feature. 2) During recording, QTP automatically adds the objects to the OR based on the properties defined for each UI element. 3) If necessary, you can manually add or modify objects in the OR by right-clicking on a test object in the Test Object Map (TOM), selecting 'Properties', and then modifying the properties as needed.
