I'm working in an IT company. Joined 2 months before. I'm
not at all interested to work in bank. I'm a Post Graduate
in IT.

If u r good in IT go ahead with it. There r many opening in
IT sector now. Otherwise go for bank job.

I too cleared the test.. My interview on 5th may.
I have some doubts. please someone who attended the
interview help me out.

I have completed my degree in 2008.
Now i am not working anywhere.
They asked for 2 recent conduct certificates know.
i got one from gazetted officer. and
i am having my college conduct certificate
given in the year 2008.
Is it enough?

NOTE : Those who hv applied in OBC category are required to
produce non-creamy layer certificate..plz get it frm
district magistrate or atleast a receipt dat u hv made
application for the same. bt in dat case they will ask u to
show previous yrs certificates. failin which ur application
may get rejected ****

Recently I know that if we finished our degree within a year,
then TC itself is enough instead of character certificate..

Hi vishalini,
no they will not consider ur TC as character certificate. i
was also in same thinking but they rejected that. so please
produce two seperate documents.

Hi guys mt interview was over on 30 th april...... it ll
take a long time for the entire process to complete so be
patient....The areas covered in interview is

*current affairs
*about SBI
*famous things about your locality
*family background.
*some GK like who is finance minister etc

Hi vishalini,

TC will not be considered as character certificate. But
usually students will get a separate conduct certificate
along with TC. If u do not have both, your TC might be
containing some phrase like " his/her character is ...Good".
This is what they want. TC or separate certificate, it
should certify that your character is good.

But I'll advice you to get a certificate from ur
institute... That would be better...

Hi All!

My Interview way yesterday i.e. on 30th April at Berhampur,
Orissa. At first i was fearing a lot for the Interview
preparation, but i prepared well with confidence.

I answered seven questions out of 10. But i am satisfied
with my Performance for interview.

Be cool. Interview is not the test for your knowledge.
Rather it is the test for your expressions and personality
as a whole. Don't be nervous and face the interview with a
cool mind.

Some of the questions asked were:

Tell me about yourself.
Which District you belong.
Tell me about KORAPUT district, Orissa
How many Industries are there in your area,
Tell me about the lifestyle of the people of your area.
What is Bank.
What do you know about SBI.
What do you did for improving yourself for the last 3years?
And some questions about your Subject/Stream in Degree.

All the best to all who have been selected to appear for
the interview. Tell Briefly, pointwise and accurate.

Iam shortlisted for sbi asso clerk interview and i have few doubts regarding documents which are to be carried. (1) Should both the character certificates be in same format?(because college have their own format). (2) Is application form mandatory? (3) Bio data form photocopies should be taken before gazetted officer signs on the form or after signing? (4) All the documents attested by gazetted officer is mandatory including photocopies of bio data form?

hie again this is rashmi rana, can sumone please suggest me a thing,i had my obc certificate of my state,i didn't know that there is another obc certificate which counts as central's..., now i filled my sbi form as obc category,n i got selected for the interview,now they have asked for the central's obc certificate,which i cant make cause,my community comes under obc in my state only, but in centre we are general category.., so what will happen now, please tell me.what will b the consequences..... please,i have two days to go to my interview.... please sumone....
